I'm currently looking for someone that would be willing to sing for me. I would like to create a remix of the vocals you provide me And create something new from it.
If you can sing, you can be either gender.
The song can be original or it can be a cover, you can choose the song and I'll work my magic on the track. This is purely for fun and the finished track will appear here.

Which would you be more comfortable with (out of curiosity) -- 1) getting the vocals first and working on the music after, or 2) working on the music first and letting me sing over it? I'm fine either way, but timing issues for 1), possibly.
My approach is usually from working with vocals pre recorded, I like to mess around with thvocals and use it in ways I can never usually comprehend.
As for timing I have a few suggestions for this problem, maybe we can chat in real time and go over the details some time
I have Skype, maybe we can chat over Skype some time? formulate some ideas and whatnot?
I do indeed have Skype -- but I'm only getting broadband next week, so you'll only be seeing me (sort of) starting next week. At the moment I'm running on dongle internet, and I dare not even open Skype.

ok, there is an option for text only communication in skype, it doesn't have to be video, that would certainly save on your bandwidth
or alternatively any other text based method like IM, google hangout, kik, etc... there's loads of options, which would you prefer as an alternative to skype?
Neither -- Google Hangouts, I've got it installed, and it's barely even working. >_< Facebook Chat would be alright, but we'll have to add each other.
Shall we wait till next week Tuesday, and see? (That's the day I get the router, and I'm able to access a connexion.)

I try to avoid using facebook, I have a fakebook account which, if absolutely needed, I could probably use for lack of alternative methods, hangouts haven't used it much but of the few times I have used it, it's been a bit finnicky, temperamental.
Will wait til tuesday and we can skype or w/e it's all cool!
I have some ideas for a song I'd love to do a cover of, but ultimately I'd like to do an original piece, but we'll see what we can do.
