Thought I'd stop by and give you a review :)

this is quite an interesting piece you have here! I really like the instrument selection and the melodies you have in this, my only improvement to this would be to the percussional aspects in the first half it sounds kinda out of place, more rather the sounds you used more than anything, had you of changed them to somethine else they would have fitted better to the piece.

overall this is a pretty solid piece, the instrumentation was awesome, nice work!

Hey Yogosun, thanks for reviewing mine, I'm here for your review! a demo eh?

Okay well I've heard this play through a couple of times now, it's playing again as I type this.

The intro I feel dragged on for a little too long in this piece.
you started with those beats, introducing the clap a little way into it and then with the bass.

It's nice to have an intro and you didn't do too bad a job with it, just try to either make them shorter in future, or better still have some kind of melody playing, to usher in the main melody.

the beats on this track were pretty kick ass but you've used standard fl kicks with this if I'm not mistaken, but for your first 2 tracks here that's fine as you're probably still getting to grips with what's at your disposal, but in future you'll be wanting to try and find different types of kicks for your tracks, as well as other percussional elements.

The melody you had playing in this piece was pretty damn catchy if I do say so myself, and I really liked that.

As a whole, this piece was a very solid piece and I can't fault you on that, it was very well put together, so congrats on that!

well that's it keep banging out those tunes man!

Hey Maestro :) just doing the rounds, thought I'd stop by and see what's new!

I remember you saying in responce to the last review I gave you, something along the lines of being stuck with the same style and methods.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this to me sounds like you're using different methods now!

This conjures up different emotions to some of your other pieces, it's a very hopeful piece, very uplifting. I feel anyway!

I can pick out an ambience playing in this tune, sounds like rain forest type ambience faint but it's there, I'm sure of it! grrr damn uncertainty >:( slap me if I'm wrong with that!

you've opted for, what sound like bongos which adds to the feel of this, kind of tribal but a different type of tribal vibe. I'm possibly still swayed by that ambience, it's bugging me I'm sure that's what can hear there.

Anyway, Maestro you have another excellent piece here, Thanks I don't know how many times this piece has played now, it's moving!

Hey Stealth. Sorry for the late response man, University has been bleeding me something fierce, and time... is well no longer something I can rely on having. In any case I do appreciate you dropping a review.

Those are crickets in the ambiance. They get fainter and fainter to imply the passing of the night, into day. I personally love that effect, and I don't know why I don't use it as often (probably just to keep it something moving when I DO use it...)

As for styles, again you are right, but if you also notice, it's still epic. I am slowly trying to move onto something not epic at all. Maybe even something romantic!

Who knows, one day right?

Good but the EQ needs attention

Guess what? you've caught me on a review day, so you lucky bastard you've got 2 from me today!

Well I shall give you as good a critique as I can for this track, it's good and I can hear what your intentions were for this track

However this track is suffering from poor EQ

if you listen to anywhere where you have kicks playing, you'll hear a noticeable change to the rest of the music, you've got heavy distortion occurring on this track!

Have no fear, if you master this track some more, throw some compression into the equation too, this track will sound even more awesome than it does already

still though, as said I can hear what you're intentions were with this tune and I it wasn't for that EQing issue I would very much so, give you a 5 for this piece

However, because I can hear your intentions I will give you a 4 for this piece

Hey EvilAnimator, this is a really nice piece you've got here, I have no idea if this is new wave or whatnot, may have been well placed in ambient possibly techno though I'm more swayed towards ambient

There's a lot of depth to this piece, must have taken a while right? I'm guessing yes! 10 for effort ;)

I'd love to hear a longer version of this, do you have plans to extend it? hope so, awesome anyway

and it loops almost seemlessly, good work there

I can see how you can invision the falling, with that guitar, I don't think this falls under general rock though, though you've not done a bad job at trying, it's a good track! I would have placed this in the video game genre, cos you'll get a higher score for it there and you'll have more chance of having this piece included in a submission, good luck with that

Still though I liked this piece, even though they weren't real guitars lol and it still kicked arse

Nice work man!

Nice piece you have hear, I like the 2 layers that I can hear in this, there are a couple of off notes in this however, nothing too severe, just the odd one here and there, a nice peaceful track and I can see effort has been put into this too
