Noob!!! lol nah you're not this is sweet

Oh My God!!! this isn't sounding too noobish to me, I'm sure others will love this too

The piano intro was wicked that sounded soooo sweet I may have to do something inspired by that too. and when it started I really wasn't expecting: firstly the piano intro, secondly how good this sounded. I was very pleasantly surprised! :)

then the bass kicked in and everything else came together, man this was awesome, I take my hat off to you!

Plenty of diversity in there too

If you keep on with this winning formula you can't go wrong

Peace Out!

Hit me back!

Lol. I know this wasn't a newbie song. But i've been working on stuff before I submitted here. Anyways, sure, I'll check out your stuff ^_^ Thanks.

Man this is awesome!

Oh man this is great, I love the lead in this that melody was sweet :) again though this tune has a slightly dark edge to it! love how it starts with that instrument is it a xylophone? or similar sounding instrument, then progressively add more depth to it by bringing in other instruments/beats then set it up nicely for that awesome lead

There's a bit of dissonance occurring in there too in places but meh! just go careful with that! :)

Peace Out!

ListenToMyMusic responds:

I noticed the dissonance later, it was actually the bass, I forgot to change it. But later I realized that it wasn't that bad sounding. Not too bad.

Nice work gotta check the original

hmm I've never heard the original of this, I might have to check it out for a comparison, see what changes you've introduced to it

But I like this nice little melodies going on in this with those synths and other instruments you've used on this

though it does sound a little muddy in places

Yay!!!

Peace Out!

I only took the melodies from the orginal. And I only used them in the first half. The second half was completely made up

sooooo diverse :)

This tune has an amazing amount of diversity to it, starting off pretty harsh (most of your tunes sound a tad dark) almost sinister then transforms into a really happier tune, which is cool! and it was your first FL tune! cool :)

Nicely done! this is getting 10's across the board!

Keep banging 'em out man!

Peace Out!

ListenToMyMusic responds:

Thanks, this is the first thing that came out of FL for me, soon I'm thinking about getting Reason 3. That should add some nice sound in the future. Thanks for all the reviews.

Nice piece

Yeah this isn't crappy, just a crappy title! lol why man? this is a really good piece, I don't have any faults with this except for one very tiny point in the tune, which sounds just a tad cluttered for a second may have been an erroneous note or something, but other than that I liked this

Peace Out!

I had this song for maybe 3 years, and I called it crappy song for the laughs from the people that were arounds me. I got some people together and we actually played this, on vibes, marimba and chimes. It was pretty cool. Thanks for the review

Nice but I think it's 2 tunes here

I love the intro you have here, I don't think it flowed brilliantly though, the way it starts is almost sinister sounding, then It changes to something a little less sinister, the second half sounded good too though! don't get me wrong I just think this kinda sounds like 2 tunes could be made from it! the beginning sounds kinda like something lurking almost like you'd hear in a horror/thriller or something and I'm sure it could be made to be dark!

You gotta finish this, make 2 tunes from it though!

Good work man!

Peace Out!

I did this real fast, but I couldn't think of anything else to add, and abandoned it. I could try again, only this time FLize it and see what happens. I'll tell if I do.

Very Nice piece

Now this is awesome, I love the progression you've got going from that trippy intro/lead at the start, then the rest building up around it, the bass, the effects! you've done a sweet job of this

5/5

yay my name still lingers on the trance page! thankyou for your review, don't forget my other audio =D

Nicely done man!

Well I must confess I don't remember the zelda theme all too well, but I can tell this is a pretty kick ass tune you've got here!

I would suggest mastering the track some more though, it all starts to get a little messy when there's so much going on there's a lot of distortion occurring in it, a bit of compression will sort that out!

Still nicely done!

Peace Out!

EchozAurora responds:

Thanks, I will make sure to put a compressor on the master track next time. I completely forgot to do it on those.

Sweet Beats Dude!

Hey Greeksta cool thing going on here! This kind of had an oriental feel about it too which I liked added to by some of the percussion you had going on, I did think the snare got a bit repetitive though, maybe change it in places, alternate with another percussive sound, but apart from that I really liked this, you've gotta do a longer tune based off this it was cool :)

Peace Out!

Greeksta-69 responds:

hey thanks man much appreciation yeah this was just a demo still working on full version.

Nice again! and improved too!

Hey some drastic changes here, I had to listen to the other one again so i could tell what to listen out for, and you've done a fair bit to this!

Ok the melodies seem in sync now I'm sure, nothing stands out in an untoward manner there! I like what you've done with that kick! did you use reverb on that? and some kind of delay or echo? cos I'm wanting to incorporate that kind of sound in an experimental piece I have ideas of

Overall the leads in this have a sharper, clearer sound to them, which sounds better. They sounded good before, but you've somehow improved them, as well as having that fade in with them at the start, which adds to the piece!

yeah I like this! you're getting a 5 for sure!

Keep banging 'em out!

Peace Out!

Stealth

SolusLunes responds:

That kick is simply a regular kick, reverbed like hell, and then stacked five deep to get that explodey sound.

Yeah, the piano was throwing off the sync of the melody, I figured that out after about three hours of "WHAT THE FUCK KEEPS FUCKING THIS UP?!" and then replaced the piano with a synthed organ.

The leads sound sharper and clearer because I spent some time on EQ'ing this, because I didn't just bang it out in two hours like I did with the demo, also, there's a hell of a lot of automation in this song, which helped improve off of the demo immensely.

Anyways, since this is v0.4, I still don't consider it done. But it's a damn sight better than the 14 seconds I left ya with earlier XD
